First-Time Testimonial
From: Peggy Hurley
Sent: Sunday, February 19, 2006 1:15 PM

This is the first time I've ever written a company with a testimonial, but the Rat Zapper has changed my life, and I tell everyone I know about this product. It is the best.

I do not have a cat anymore, so the mice took up residence in my basement, which has an office, family room and laundry room. I am petrified of dead mice, so old-fashioned mouse traps are out of the question. I went on the Internet to find natural, alternative ways of repelling mice, and learned about peppermint oil, which I tried, and my house smelled great, but it didn't stop the mice. So I searched again and found a website that had a very long bulletin board that people posted their mouse-repelling solutions on. At least a fourth of the contributors mentioned the Rat Zapper, so I figured it was worth a try. I bought one from a local hardware store, set it up in the basement, and voila! I caught one mouse every day for 7 straight days.

Every morning I would run downstairs to the basement to see if the light was flashing, and when it was, I was happier than on Christmas morning.

Now, one day we heard a gnawing sound in a kitchen cabinet. I banged on the door and looked inside and didn't see anything remiss. But when I came home from work that day, I opened the cabinet door and found that every single item in that cabinet had been gnawed on, including: a plastic honey container shaped like a bear -- there was honey spilled out all over the cabinet; there were bags of Japanese seaweed gnawed and eaten, right through the plastic. It was disgusting.

I had to empty out the entire cabinet and clean it carefully. Then I ran downstairs and got my precious Rat Zapper and set it up in the kitchen cabinet. No more than one hour later, I opened the cabinet to check the light and it was flashing!

I was absolutely ecstatic. It is so easy to dispose of the dead mouse, and I'm such a chicken I've never even looked at the dead mouse, I just pour it into a bag and through it away. I haven't had anymore mice until recently when I got two more, but I always leave it ready for new visitors and continue to run downstairs and check it every morning for the famous flashing light. It's fun.

Thank you, Rat Zapper, for a truly excellent product. Great invention, and for once, I can say it was money well spent. Makes a great house-warming gift, too.

First testimonial ever
From: Todd Billings
Sent: Friday, December 09, 2005 7:19 PM

This is the first testimonial that I have ever written a company. I purchased your Ratzapper product last week with skepticism, but I was so frustrated over the last 3 months with my newly found "friends"(mice). I immediately contacted my pest control company, who confirmed my problem and gave me sticky pads. 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and nothing. I decided to take things into my own hands. I purchased two different types of traditional traps. A box that locks behind the mouse, and a circular trap that snaps when the mouse reaches the food. A month passes by and still nothing....except mouse droppings in my pantry, under my sink, and behind my fridge. Finally, I had enough! I called another pest control company.... After not having any success with my previous pest control company, I wasn't confident in anyone else solving the problem. A quick google search and viola-The Ratzapper! I purchased the Ratzapper immediately....To my surprise, I woke up the next morning and had finally caught my mouse. Not knowing how many I had, and feeling the excitement of finally getting some results, I rebaited the Ratzapper and sat down to watch a movie with my wife. A few minutes late BZZZZZ!-Another one! To make a long story short, I caught 5 mice in the next 24 hours and have not seen another one yet. Thank you Agrizap and that you Ratzapper! I always felt that testimonials could be a little fake or phony, but now I know why you have so many positive testimonials. Please feel free to use my testimonial as well! THE RATZAPPER REALLY WORKS!

I had to write to tell you how much I like your product. I bought a RatZapper Ultra just a week or so ago after finding mice and rats building nest in my tractor engine compartment. After just a few days, I have Zapped five(5) mice and three (3) rats!! I'm ordering another RatZapper Ultra to use on the other side of my house near my pool equipment shed, where the critters are trying to make a home for the winter.

Zap Those Suckers!
From: Annette S.

I have had a doggie door into my garage for over 10 years, but have never had a problem with unwanted visitors coming in thru it - until now. First, I found a little pile of insulation under my water heater in the garage. Then I found a little wad of that same insulation at the foot of the stairs leading up to my attic. That was when I realized that the little bugger(s) had gotten into the attic/bonus room area thru the small hole where the pipes from the water heater enter the house! Then I saw some droppings on those stairs where there was none just a few days before, so this was a pretty quick invasion. I've never had a mouse or rat problem before and dreaded the thought of conventional traps or baits. Went on-line to see what alternatives there might be and found the Zapper. When I got home that night, I found some droppings in my kitchen at the corner of my stove, so they were INSIDE now - this was war!!

Found a location to purchase it locally, set it up but didn't turn it on until I saw that a piece of the dogfood that comes with it had disappeared. About 12 hours after first putting it out, I turned it on - about midnight. Got up early the next morning and immediately saw that light flashing. Had me a little mousie, which I dumped in a plastic bag and threw away in my outside trash without touching anything! Re-set it and went to work and had another when I got home - large enough that it's ratty little tail was sticking out, so maybe a small rat. Anyway, I keep resetting it in my kitchen and I keep getting them. I don't know if they're somehow getting into the living area of the house from the attic or if I had that many in there with me all along. Gives me chills to think so! Anyway, since I'm still getting them inside, I'm getting another Zapper for the attic, with a rat tale so I can see when I've got one without having to keep going up there to check. Eight so far in as many days, still on 4 regular alkaline batteries. I HIGHLY recommend the Zapper - it couldn't be easier and is very effective.

You Saved My Sanity!

As long as I've owned this house I've never seen a mouse.

But when I heard a scratching noise in the wall a few months ago I immediately realized what it was. How it got in I am not sure, but I suspect it took up residence after my next door neighbor fumigated his house.

Anyhow, my first thought was I hope it doesn't have children in there. Or die in there. I hit the internet and saw suggestions such as peppermint oil, dryer sheets, ultrasonic devices, etc. I also saw the RatZapper mentioned but figured it wouldn't come to that.

I tried the dryer sheets and after a few days the scratching stopped. I assumed it went away. Well, when it decided to stick it's head out in the middle of the day two weeks ago I realized I was wrong.

I became consumed with catching it. I purchased the peppermint oil. No luck. Got some glue traps with peanut butter and it just avoided it. Each day it became more bold. Running around during the day even in a room filled with people. That just pissed off.

That night I purchased FOUR RatZappers. I know it seems excessive for one mouse but one of us was leaving and it wasn't going to be me :-). They just arrived today and in only a few hours that bold little mouse is no more!!

I've decided to share the wealth so I am going to keep two RatZappers and give the other two away. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I finally have my sanity back. And if he has any little friends I'll be ready for them too!

After 10 years of putting up with mice and rats in our house, garage, office and attic we are finally winning the battle and now can enjoy living in the country.

We have purchased every known rat trap and gadget with little to no success. When my wife brought the Rat Zapper home I was a little angry that she was spending more money on another stupid device. Was I happily wrong!

Within the first few hours she had eliminated 4 mice and 2 rats. After 2 days the count is up to 12. It's now fun to get up in the morning to see how many rats and mice we have eliminated. The rat zapper is amazing and being an engineer, I am very impressed.

I especially appreciate how humane and clean the device is. As much as I hate the rats in the house, I really did hate killing them more. The sticky plates I could not bare, and the poison left dead rats and mice dying in the walls and creating an awful smell for days.

Thank you for such a great device.

Mike Mclane

PS. We've purchased two more zappers and are telling our friends and family.

I love your product! It helped eliminate a rat in our garage a few years ago...

Our 4-year-old Golden Retriever, who's nickname is "Demon Beast From Hell" (her real name is Ginger)....has finally returned to normal, thanks to our Rat Zapper.

Our dog was convinced there was a rat in our house and then became obsessed with tracking the mouse from the patio door in the den, along the breakfast nook, into the kitchen, behind the table, back past the breakfast nook. It got to the point that I moved ALL the furniture to let her have a chance to find/trap/kill the damn mouse BEFORE I remembered about my Rat Zapper that was sitting in the garage. Once the batteries were refreshed, the battle was won! Thank goodness we can all go back to normal now.....

I think you should call your device, "The Hammer." The rats around here - the New Mexico desert is alive with them - seem to stand in line and didn't need an acclimatization period befor they started frequenting the Rat Zapper. I'll set it out in the evening and usually before I go to bed, it's already time to empty and reset it! I've ordered a few more. My cars are finally safe!

I just lay a trail of food from just outside to the back of the trap. I've caught a rat every night, one during the day and one within 15 minutes of resetting.

I'm just writing to say I'm totally satisfied with your product. We live in a row house and for years rats come in our neighbors houses with poorly sealed basements etc. Then they scurry in our walls and ceilings, pilfer dog and cat food. I've videotaped them rummaging in our kitchen at night. They laughed at the snap traps and poisons we tried.

Three days of pre-baiting with the same dried dog food he snacked on led to this fellow's demise on day four.

Great product and would highly recommend to all my friends if the need arises. I feed the birds in my backyard and have huge pecan trees that put out lots of pecans. Good Bye Snap Traps!

Working in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California at a 4,000 acre test facility where it is like a zoo with all of the wild animals running around, and of course the unwanted Rats! For years the rats have been getting into the test area buildings and leaving the normal mess of droppings and acorn shells. It is unbelievable where they eat and leave their messes. The old tried and true method of using wooden mouse traps is still in use today at the facility and not doing a very good job.

The new and Improved High Tech mouse trap has arrived here atthe facility. When I removed the new Rat-Zapper from it's box and showed it around all of the normal response were heard, "Oh yea, just another come on" or "I don't believe it." The Rat-Zapper was set to use that evening right next to a baited wooden rat trap in one of the trailers before leaving work. Next morning that little red light was flashing when we entered the trailer letting us know that there was something inside. The wooden rat trap right next to it still had the bait and no rat. Everybody thought that was neat. So after the first night it was wooden mouse trap "0" Rat-Zapper "1".

Again that evening it was set inside a test cell along with a rat trap. Next morning it was mouse trap "0" Rat-Zapper "2". After the first fourteen days it was rat trap "0" Rat-Zapper "12". Guess we're running out of rats!

A number of the workers who live in the mountains and have rat problems have purchased a Rat-Zapper at a local hardware store and are now finally getting rid of their rat problems. The Rat-Zapper was brought to the attention of the health and safety office of the company and the company is now purchasing twelve Rat-Zappers.

Last year, I was plagued by rats getting into my outdoor spa's heater compartment. I decided to order a Rat Zapper because the poisen I used was too risky with my with my new lab puppy. Iset the baitedRZ near the rat hole. The next morning I could see the indicator light blinking, signaling th RZ had a kill in the trap. Sure enough, my RatZapper had its first kill. Without having to touch the rat I disposed of it. There was no bloody mess like the way poison works.

The Rat Zapper 2000… I thought, no way.
From: T. Piland
Sent: Jan. 24, 2005

I grew up in the country on a ranch and the only way to kill rats is with the large spring loaded traps. And we killed a lot of them big guys.

Well, I was child then, and unloading the rattraps gave me something to do during the summer.br
I now live in the city and once again have a rat problem. To be quite frank with ya, I don’t have time to load, set, and unload the rat traps anymore; nor do I want to. So, I thought I’d give the Rat Zapper 2000 a try.

The first night I positioned the trap on the roof and inserted the pet food pellets supplied with the trap, but didn’t turn it on (according to the directions). The next morning, all the food was gone. That night I set the food in the trap again, but this time, turned it on. By 8:30 pm, ZAP!, first rat gone… I also use the Rat Tale to easily see if the trap has zapped any rats without having to climb back onto the roof.

Disposal is nothing, simply dump the rat into the trash bin, reload with food, turn the switch back on, and you’re loaded for bear, once again.

The Rat Zapper 2000; it’s a Godsend for rat problems.

11 Mice in 27 Hours
From: Amy
Sent: Jan. 16, 2005

I just wanted to say thanks for creating a great product. Being an animal lover, I reluctantly admit the necessity of dispatching mice, but hate other methods- snap traps, glue traps, poison... even live catch and release is a slow death sentence during the bitterly cold Chicago winter.

When I first read about the Rat Zapper (found it online), it made sense to me. My entire family was skeptical, but I decided to get one anyway. I was the one feeling smug after we killed 11 mice in the first 27 hours of use. The mice are dead, quickly, and I imagine relatively painlessly. No horrible lingering messes like some of the other traps can cause. What a relief! Thanks again for finding a better way. I'd recomend the Rat Zapper to anyone.

We have offices that have constant problems. Five years ago, we used to use glue boards and when a mouse was stuck trying to get off it (the staff) would start calling my office, then they'd call the Dean or Vice President's office.

Now I tell the staff to call our office when you see the blinking light and we'll send someone out, we'll pick up the visitor. The (staff) likes it. They're not looking at anything; they're not touching anything and not worried about seeing some mouse squealing around on a glue trap when they come in. The Rat Zapper pays for itself.

Clever Mice
From: Joel Hamburger
Sent: Dec. 21, 2004

We had a pair of VERY clever mice who were consistently escaping every snap and glue trap we could find. we even tried to use another brand of electrocuting trap which didn't work. I was extremely skeptical of that trap as it emitted an audible hum. The mice were annoying but not to the end of the world. However, the early morning scream of my girlfriend as she spied a good sized roof rat running across the living room was the sign of the coming Ratpocalypse.

After my own personal run in with the rat later that day, I purchased the RatZapper.

That night we caught the two mice. The following three weeks we had no evidence of rodent infestation. Last night was one of the coldest this year, and this morning I was greeted with a blinking red light and the two inches of tail. That rat was dead! So thanks for a great product. I've already recomended it to a few friends. My only complaint is that it takes a little bit of work to shake out a stiff dead rat. Its a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing that if they're out there, the RatZapper will get them.

I purchased a Rat Zapper 2000 last week. I let my 14 year old son set it up. When after 5 days we hadn't caught our rat, I asked my son if he'd read all the directions before he set the trap. He said yes. Regardless, I got out the directions and we read them together. Then we took your suggestion to set the trap with bait but to leave it turned off. We also moved the trap against a baseboard. Within hours, my son noticed the bait missing. He refilled the bait, and again the bait was taken. He rebaited the trap and turned it on. Volia! Within 20 minutes we had the large rat that had been nibbling his way through our garage. We probably could have had the rat the first day if we'd followed all the suggestions listed in the instructions. This is a great product!

Just a quick followup to let you know I have a sequel to my rat eradication program. I did move the Rat Zapper to the bottom of the wall and Rat number 2 bit the dust last night.. He apparently did follow the first rat's trail… much smaller critter than the first… but still a rat!!! As a single woman, I always had the struggle and anxiety of having to deal with the mess after they got on the trap… not to mention the more intense anxiety of them NOT getting caught in traps… I guess it's kind of silly, but I feel a bit at peace with the Rat Zapper. I trust that it will take care of the critters and once it does, I don't have to see anything gross (well, that tail sticking out from Mr. Big Rat was pretty gross but nothing like what happens in a snap trap or the squeaking and thrashing on sticky trap) I see a blinking light, and can just tilt the trap into the garbage and it's all set up to go again. I never thought I'd be expressing my affection for a rat trap, but I love my Rat Zapper!!!

Rats Love Viagra
From: Amy
Sent: Dec. 22, 2004

I had a rat in my house...creepy thing was getting in through a hole in my flashing on the roof, getting into a closet via the space around a vent pipe and was coming in at night. It took me a while, but once I figured out he was coming in through the closet, I fixed the bottom of the door so he couldn't get into the rest of the house and I set a trap in there.

First I put a sticky trap down but he got off of it. I put poison out and he ignored it. I bought a regular spring loaded rat trap and he knocked a can off the shelf to set the trap off and then he ate the bait. He made me nuts!!

I was trying to figure out what the heck he was after in that closet.... One shelf had extra bedding and sheets--two had towels, one had cleaning supplies, and one had extra stuff like shampoo, soap, vitamins, etc because I buy that stuff in bulk. Nothing looked like it had been disturbed but I had to take everything out and wash it because -well, because rats are nasty and he'd been in there! Nothing on the top four shelves had been bothered or chewed on, but then I got to the shelf with my shampoo and as I started moving stuff out, I started finding little bits of plastic and cotton and I'm thinking “Aha! He got into the aspirin!” But no, the aspirin bottle was fine--so I thought “hmm, must be the vitamin c” --but no, the vitamins were still sealed up just like when they were bought.

So I finally get to the back of the shelf and there is a bottle laying on it’s side with the cap chewed OFF, and all the pills are gone but one-and that one had been nibbled on. Guess what it was? A bottle of "motivator" which is an “herbal Viagra for women”. One of my friends had given it to me as a gag gift last Christmas and I had stuck it back in the closet unopened (hello?? not a great gift for a single gal—I take enough cold showers as it is!). Anyway, that rat went after it like it was candy.

Now that really grossed me out.....not only was there a rat in my house, he was now the horniest and most motivated to reproduce rat on the planet and I knew I had to take drastic measures--or I’d be suffering from a population explosion of rodents.

So I went down and bought a the Rat Zapper from my local hardware store (Ikeuchi’s in Honoka’a) and used the last Viagra as bait. It got him the first night---so there is a happy ending. And he was a huge rat—(actually I don’t’ know if it was male or female—hopefully it was a female!) with an 8 or 9 inch tail –I didn’t look at anything else…that’s what was sticking out the back of the trap!!

It’s a true and funny story…but it’s kind of squeamishly funny…..after all, I still had a big old rat in my house! But the laughter outweighed the embarrassment and I had to tell the tale –and it does prove yet again that God has a wonderful sense of humor…..

Thank you for a wonderful product—you did indeed build a better mouse (rat) trap!
