"....Just wanted to let you know that you have a great product, and it actually works! I live in the Santa Monica Mountains and there is a tendency for a lot of Rat breeding during the spring time. RECOMMENDED BATTERIES FOR CLASSIC RAT ZAPPER

We recommend Energizer e2 Lithium Batteries for superior performance. At the minimum we recommend Energizer, e2 Titanium or Duracell Ultra w/ M3 technology for good performance. Tests have proven that the Energizer e2 Lithium Battery works 7 to 10 times longer than the regular alkaline batteries.

If you can't find Duracell Ultras, or Energizer e2 Titanium, the next option is the regular Duracell Copper Top batteries or regular Energizer batteries.

RECOMMENDED BATTERIES FOR RAT ZAPPER ULTRA

We recommend Alkaline "D" Cell Batteries or Enhanced Alkaline Batteries available at your local retail establishments.

We do NOT recommend rechargeable batteries.

Conservation Tip: When your alkaline batteries are no longer powerful enough to be used in the rat zapper, there is usually still be plenty of juice to run other devices that require less energy (such as calculators, remote controls, electronic clocks and timers, etc.).
